Hi,
What a summer! We've just wrapped up two amazing sessions of our AI Innovator's program, and I'm still excited from the energy of it all.
60+ students joined us this summer - our biggest group to date! We had students from across the U.S, and even students joining us internationally.
What Makes AI Innovators Special?
We keep things fun, hands-on, and light on the theoretical math.
Instead of bogging down students with theory, we apply a more practical lens and focus on the application of AI technologies and how they are being used in the real-world.
The goal? Get students building their own AI projects ASAP.
Throughout the program, students:
Built 3 mini-projects to apply new skills as they learned them.
Teamed up for building Capstone Projects (more on this down below)
Explored why AI matters in the real world through several research deep-dives.
Capstone Projects:
Most students favorite part of the program are the Capstone Projects, where we put everything together.
How does it work? Each student an picked an industry (robotics, healtchare, etc) they were excited about and partnered up with 2-3 other students to build an AI projects solving a real problem in that industry.
We recorded all the final presentations, and it still blows my mind how students with no previous AI experience made these projects.
What's Next?
Many of our students are now:
Working on extending their capstone research projects.
Utilizing our 1-on-1 mentorship program to level up and work on more advanced AI research projects
Want to See What AI Innovator's is All About?
Check out some of the project presentations from this summer. Trust me, you'll be impressed.
P.S: Ignore the cameras jumping around on Zoom during the first 30 seconds in the recordings, I was pinning the students presenting.
Brain Tumor Detection Using CNN's
Pneumonia Detection with CNN's
Stock Market Prediction with Decision Trees
Facial Expression Recognition
There's a bunch more I didn't add here but overall they were all super cool projects spanning a diverse set of fields.
If you weren't able to join us this summer, our fall cohort is now open so check that out!
Best,
Parth (Founder @ AI Academy)
